I've had this specimen for several years now. The healthy pics were taken last July. The not so happy ones a couple weeks ago. It's been hanging on but gradually declining in health. I am going to try coral rx dip and target feed in a container. I don't have any tankmates picking on it so I suspect something else. My other coral are happy except for my acans and chalice.

Bring down your alk. Slowly as you have already shocked your corals with the big jump. My experience you don't want to jump or go down more the 1.0 per week which is already a big jump

while youre getting one of those just get a test kit for magnesium and calcium as well. You should be checking these 3 parameters along with temp and salinity regularly. Recommended ranges are posted all over so should be able to find that easily. This will save you a lot of money and frustration when the parameters are on point.

How about temp? Scoly like water closer to 75 than 80 and whenever ppl loose them in the summer temp is always the #1 culprit imo

Salifert is a good test kit for the big three (mag, calc, and alk. I would focus more on alk if ur having trouble with it atm.
