I definitely want it done right considering I have about 1500 square feet that is currently wood. In the bedroom where they scraped the ceiling you can see the tpe if a few spots, how can I texturize a painted area?

Awesome! The house in 90% covered with wood paneling over drywall of unknown texture (possibly no texture) so it will need to be texturized and painted once I pull it all down. PM me your phone number; I will give you a call once I get the paneling off
