My auto shut off valve on my spectra pure rodi went bad. Ended up killing my membranes :( now I have to fork out $200 on new filters and membranes. My TDS went from reading 2 TDS to 98 TDS right before the DI. Also my dam water bill jumped $100 too. Going to add a valve on the water tap line now.

I'm too broke but dam this would be a legit upgrade for me.

Received my artfully acrylic lid for my tank. Not really happy with it. For the price I paid I expected it to be better made. The lid basically look like it went directly from the machine to the shipping box. Had lots of shavings that where not remove. Wish they at least polish the edges too...

i got tired of swapping out filter socks and using a DIY drip tray with a filter floss that i wash out once a week. this video is very informative, just wish i wasnt lazy with cleaning and replacing filter socks haha.

i am on 2 years with my Cobalt neotherm 100w on my nano on a controller. i know their heaters for 150w and higher were the crappy ones that kept blowing. I wanted to have a ehiem heater but my sump foot print is too small for one to fit properly.

So far tank went down hill. Not from neglect but from bad test kits. My Salifert Calcium and Mag a little over a year old. kit was reading low so I kept dosing my tank and yet after dosing and testing frequently I saw my parameters only bumped up a few ppm. I bought a new Calcium and Mag test...
