    Smite's Stout CDA - 205G

Hopefully, the fox face will recover in the sump. Sorry that happened. My fishes are also curious whenever I add frags or snails, and will check it out. I’ve been sucking up some BRS insta-set into a needled syringe, and adding drops to the superglue. It usually hardens within 10 seconds.

    Made some coral plugs

When I place the newly made plugs into the tank, it builds up some diatom or browning over it very quickly. It seemed to have killed my cyphastrea frag that I glued onto it. I've placed the other newly made plugs into a bucket with saltwater, and hoping it can cure it a bit. Your plugs looks...

    Chuy’s Budget Noob Tank

For a tank that size, the best way to control automatically is to set up an AWC if you can.

Have you tried replacing the power cable? Take the batteries out of your remote, see if that does anything.

Hmmm...Feb 8th, that's way too long. That's not right. Wish the sdreef website is working, I tried to look at that local fourm, but it gives an 404 error. I hope you get this resolved. Nobody likes getting no response after payment.

    Anyone still using selcon?

I don't know man. I already dose my tank with vodka. And feed nori, which is also one of my favorite snacks. Seems like the tanks like a lot of what I like. LOL. I know my appetite gets better with garlic, too. :ROFLMAO: But selcon I believe has been shown (at least anecdotally) to...

    Ohiostreetz

I would give him the benefit of the doubt since he's been in the hobby for awhile, and have always been an upstanding guy. When was the last time he communicated with you? If it has been longer than 2 weeks or blocked you, then I would worry. Is SDreef website not up anymore? I would think...

    Help with alk question

Don't worry too much, you don't have any corals yet in the new tank. New algae and nitrogen cycle is going to be moving around a lot until the tank is fully cycled and through the initial uglies.

    Anyone still using selcon?

Anyone using the selcon to enrich their fishes food? I was using this stuff on my 1st tank. And I'm glad to see that it is still around. I remember it was selcon and garlic to fight off fish diseases. I'm still using it. It's a bit messy. If you are using it, how and what are you using it...

    Long time reefer coming back.

Same here. 2 kids knocked me out of hobby for years. I finally moved and settled down in new home a couple years ago and kids getting older/show interests in fishes, so I decided to get back in. Got the tank wet about 6 months ago. Huge learning curve to get up to speed with the new ways to...

    Help with alk question

Since your nitrates are 50 in an empty tank, I'm assuming that you are near the end of cycle? Pretty normal for your alkalinity to drop as ammonia is converted to nitrate. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just add part B to bring it back up.

    Got a new tank. [emoji894]

That tank looks nice and clean. It looks perfect I that spot too. Your daughter is going to love it. The tricky part is getting everything to fit inside that stand. Wifey said the same thing about nothing outside of the stand, which makes it hard.
