Anyone using the selcon to enrich their fishes food? I was using this stuff on my 1st tank. And I'm glad to see that it is still around. I remember it was selcon and garlic to fight off fish diseases.

I'm still using it. It's a bit messy.

If you are using it, how and what are you using it with? Would be interesting to know how many people still use it, or if they have moved onto the new additive.

Normally I just use it with frozen food maybe every other day

I don't know man. I already dose my tank with vodka. And feed nori, which is also one of my favorite snacks. Seems like the tanks like a lot of what I like. LOL.

I know my appetite gets better with garlic, too. :ROFLMAO:

But selcon I believe has been shown (at least anecdotally) to prevent HLLE in tangs and angels. So that's one of the big reasons that I use it still. Plus I like how it has B12 and C, which I think can benefit the tank as well.

Selcon is good stuff, my link was more for the garlic info. Personally, I could cook with just garlic and olive oil alone and be happy. :p

I use it if I'm in a pinch and can't find LRS or Reef Frenzy. I'll add it to mysis/brine ect to add a little more nutrition for the fish.
