yah, get salifert alk kit, get a pH monitor, and refractometer for salinity, then we can talk ;) Also consider any changes in lighting? Otherwise, I'd say go with the water change asap, and keep changing til scoly looks good again.

the usual questions people will ask you is, what are your params? pH? Alk? Cal? Salinity? Nitrates? Most important is salinity, pH and Alk I would say. Any fluctuation in those can affect your corals.

Here is a better method steve, take that frag, and dump it down the toilet...no seriously...you want to be sure, just dump it. And then take your other montis that were in the same system, and treat THEM, and keep close eye on them.
