Ok, here is the official thread to get this puppy sold and into the right owner's hands. Tank is Visio starphire on 3 sides, has center trapezoid overflow. It is 6x2x2, standard 180. Has returns coming from over the top of the tank and 4 1inch holes for CL output and one 1.5in CL intake...

exactly, except I wont have my 180 to get it from anymore, so I will have to just make it at home and bring to work, no big deal. I might eventually keep a nano at home as well. So much cheaper, and you can still grow coral and sell.

yah I am not that crazy that is for sure. Besides, this nano at work looks so clean now, just need to dust off the detritus once a week and swap 50% of the water, should be easy now that I can make 50 gallons of saltwater in a nice big tub at home. Now I just need a top off solution for the nano.

no need for peace of mind, I know skimmers are not needed on small systems. Bebo, no I didnt have a 180 at work, man you are silly sometimes :D

skimmers are not necessary really, unless you have lots of fish, lots of bioload, or feed a lot. In a nano, if you can control your feeding, have good flow to keep any detritus off the bottom, and change your water weekly, you really dont need a skimmer. Oh, and having good live rock and clean...

oh yah, its gonna get filled up with some really nice stuff. I just need to stay on top of changing water every week, I am going to not run a skimmer and see how it goes.

how is the acrylic, any bad scratches? Can you take off the finish on that stand? I'd want it stained darker. Also , where are the returns, how does the overflow work since its so small? Assuming you used an internal pump for your return pump with that sump? I might be interested, and might...

If you are gonna buy the tunzes you should get the multicontroller. But I can do the tunzes for $525 if you get both. Multicontroller $200.
