Ok, here is the official thread to get this puppy sold and into the right owner's hands.

Tank is Visio starphire on 3 sides, has center trapezoid overflow. It is 6x2x2, standard 180. Has returns coming from over the top of the tank and 4 1inch holes for CL output and one 1.5in CL intake. Overflow has a 1.5" bulkhead drain.

Stand and canopy are custom made out of maple, furniture grade, stained and sealed. This stuff stand and canopy cost around $3000 alone. Pics dont show the doors but I do have matching doors for the stand. Canopy has 2 piano hings so each front half flips up. There are two vent holes drilled on either side of the canopy.

I need to sell the tank, so I am sacrificing it for $1700 for tank, stand and canopy.

If you buy more things from me, I will include the plumbing for free (300 worth of ball valves piping etc etc, trust me it adds up).

Here are some pics:

I will also throw in the starphire bottom which is another $100 value.

Additional items I can sell with the tank:

Schuran JS 1 reactor with co2 tank, solenoid and inline pH probe

Icecap 250w electronic ballasts (qty 3)

Emperor Aquatics 50w HO UV (can handle up to a 180-200gal tank (5in diameter)

Gen X 40 return pump
Panworld 50PX-X return pump

Reefer714 special BK knock off skimmer built by loc, run by 2 H&S eheim pumps rated for 400-500gal tank.

RPS 3000 skimmer

Ocean Motions 4 way

2 tunze 6100 and multicontroller

Reeflo DART
etc.etc.

The more you buy, the better discount you will receive.

Let the fighting over this system begin, who is interested?

can you guys help spread the word about the tank sale, check with your friends, other boards etc. I really need to sell the tank and make room in my office. I am not desperate, but i want it to go to a good home.

well, asking price of $1700 will include all the plumbing lots of ball valves etc, worth 300-400...so its a pretty firm price, but if you have a number in mind let me know. I have a buddy from work coming to look at it this weekend as well, so I am willing to listen to all offers.

I guess it'll be easier once I see your setup and then I can make you an offer. Hard to make an offer without seeing the setup first. BTW, are you located in Newbury Park? If you are, where's that at? Last thing, when are you available?

Thanks,

Jeffrey

Newbury Park = Thousand Oaks, located about 35 NW of LAX off the 101 freeway. It is about 20-25mins north of the San Fernando valley area.

I am available anytime really, but if you want to stop by this weekend, we can arrange. I will PM you my number and we'll go from there.

Hi Guys

I am happy to say the tank is tentatively sold to a coworker of mine who came by today to check it out. Tentative because he cannot pay me til next week, but I know where he works, so I am confident he will come through. At least I know it is going to a good home.

JeffLam, I did not hear from you today, and I know you were planning on coming up here, but I assume this will make your decision easier.
