This is my tank. 120 gal acrylic. Drilled and installed overflow with Herbie standpipe. Sump has a Bubble Magus Curve 7 and Sicce 2.0 return pump. BRS pukani should be here today. Currently cycling with live rock and a piece of shrimp. Lights will be purchased soon. As well as more equipment...

Adding some pukani from BRS that should be here today. I'll probably go through some cycling after that so I'll wait and see. Quarantine tank is still cycling too so still waiting. That's the hardest part.

No ammonia after a week. Got the rock from tanks at Reef Lounge USA. Was out of water about 30 min. Rock is pretty bare so don't think there was a lot of die off. Seems cycled to me. Checking ammonia, nitrite and nitrate with Red Sea marine care test kit. I know it's possible it won't cycle...

Cycling with live rock and a piece of shrimp. How long do you leave the raw shrimp in the tank? Going on 4 days and looks pretty fungi.

Not new to reefing though starting back up. Attached the only pic of my last reef that was mixed though kids didn't allow time to maintain so stopped for ten years. Now setting up my acrylic 120. I could use some advice on drilling the back and installing an overflow box.
