Hey guys I was curious if I just went simple and bought a small hob filter, take out the bio fiber and filter cartridge, so it is standalone, add chaeto in it, plus add a small 6500k led light above......do you guys think it will work? This is a sumpless system that ive had in my room for awhile...

50 bucks firm I"ll take, considering I bought the legs for 15, all 4 bulbs for 60, and the 50 for the fixture at my lfs. I know I might of paid too much for something I never used,. You live and learn.

Well, to be honest, yes, I catch myself dazing at the tank, but its much easier when the halide is off and just the white and blue lunar leds are on.

here it is, im pretty happy with it (besides the anenome i have....i think its ugly. lol), tank w/stand from wm, duncan colony, pulsing xenia, birds nest, hatian anenonome, o-clown, demsel, neon dotty back, cleaner shrimp, zoanthids, polys, candy cane, torch w/ 3 heads, 30lbs aragonite, 35lbs...
