Avoid this vendor - So Cal Tropical Fish Outlet

So I just got through the worst aquarium hobby sales experience I've had so I thought I would share to save some people from a similar experience. I'm in the middle of setting up a 70g mixed reef (we're transitioning from our 40br and a 20g tank in our bedroom) so we needed some hardware. I...

    WTB 15-20lbs dry rock

I put it here because most people post about rock here, dead or live. No one answered anyone else in the dry good category about dry rock.

Would he jump out of a open top tank? I heard Triggers were jumpers... I just lost my Atlantic Blue Tang due to carpet surfing... Thanks! Nicole

    WTB Rouge Milli

Lawrence our red planet is still to small to frag (it's about 4" across now, but since it's tabling its low). I could pick up some and trade you for it, or I could pay you $$. What do you prefer? Thanks! Nicole

    FS Blue Tang about 2.5" $25 91007

Isn't that a bit expensive for a Blue Tang? We have a nearby store that sells 4" ones for $25.

    Local reefing heros

Paul and Lawrence Paul and Jeff with Fantastic Frags always manage to get me the weird coral I need for a price I can afford. Lawrence and Richard are just a badass for making SFVR happen despite us not having a "home".

    Whats the real verdict?

I am REALLY suspicious of these... the "photos" they showed are EXTREMELY doctored. My biggest concern is they are UL listed, a standard testing protocol for all products sold in the US. They test for all kinds of problems... check out UL here: http://www.ul.com/global/eng/pages/ I would...

Crosshatch trigger pair sighted, for sale

Mark's tropical has a pair of crosshatch trigger's too if anyone is interested... I think they were about a k too. For some reason they've tossed their frag tag... not that it ever had anything good really - but we did buy a nice Open Brain from them in highlighter yellow a year ago.
