I used a hacksaw to cut it but I'd recommend a miter saw with a blade specifically for aluminum to make cleaner and more precise edges. Be careful and read up on that though cause I heard it is dangerous when the shrapnel bits fly out.

I used t slots 1" extruded aluminum. I first used it to create a stand for my metal halide fixture. I later added vho to the same fixture and also an led bar. I took it apart and now it's being used to hold my led fixtures up. I like how it is very modular and can adapt to many different kinds...

I had so many Vermatid snails that I couldn't pick up a rock without getting stabbed by them. After awhile, they started to disappear on their own. Unless my mccoskers wrasse ate them all. Anyways, I have sps, zoas, lps and all were unaffected by them. They would always spit out their web...

Mixed for me as well. About 1 to 1 1/2 years.

I appreciate the compliment surgical! Like others, I killed off a lot of my sps frags when I started. It took a lot of trial and error before I figured out what they needed. I envy your birdsnest growth by the way. I can't seem to grow that sps well for some reason. Growth is very slow for me.
