So I changed up my aquascape so that I could collect more zoas/acans. I created an island to keep them off the sand bed and grow out nicely. And I just got my first acan from Reef Lounge. I have it sitting underneath my branch structure shaded from the 250w mh 20k radiums. It's a 20" tall tank with mh about 14" above the water level.
So my question is do you think that the acan is better off in the shaded area away from the mh or should I put it directly underneath the mh? Also, what will happen when the zoas and acans get close? Thanks in advance. Here are some pics of where it sits so that you have a better idea.
