Why do so many people have problems with phosphates? I have over 800+ gallons of reef and all mesure zero PO4. I use what public aquariums use LaCl3. Keep it simple, cheap and easy.

Like all algea there are different sp. of bryopsis (50+), can also look different with different lighting. Best way to tell is by looking at it under a microscope, look for the feathers. Scrubbing a single celled plant out of the water then placing it back into the aquarium is going to cause...

Bryopsis, topped with a light layer of cyano. Elysia crispata Nudis will tear that stuff up, or good old nutrient control. Whatever you do dont scrub it, thats how it spreads. Some say its harder to control than gona-syphi-herpa-itas.
