When my DI cartridge runs out it went from 10ppm to 50ppm while filling up a 30 gallon trash can. just buy a DI cartridge to be safe.

They sell live pods at Pasadena Tropical Fish and always have them in stock I think for about $20. I would hook you up with one of my rocks but it sounds like you need more than that.

How big is your tank and do you have a sump? I used one of the rocks from the sump of my 40 gallon to seed my 14 gallon. A month later there are tons of pods all over the glass of the 14 gallon, I don't have any fish to eat them in there.

How does the camera box work?

I have a reef keeper lite also but you would have to buy a float switch and a pump. I have my heater, power head, pump, and ATO on the RKL it so I can put all on standby when I do water changes or feed. Right now since it is so hot I have a fan hooked up in the ATO spot so it will keep it cool.

I use Tunze Nano for both my tanks. I like its fail safe when the reservoir runs dry.
