Gone, hope you enjoy the stand John!

Still available, if not picked up in the next few days I'm leaving it curbside

While my tank isn't up and running yet I wouldn't mind receive a frag in return but it's not required by any means. If a frag is given I'll have to throw it in my friends tank temporarily until my reef is up. Pics of the stand, nothing spectacular... Note that multi skinned/peeled piece...

Haven't been able to work on it, sons birthday bonanza has now subsided. I decided to lay the tank on the stand for the time being to get rid of the old stand. Somewhere along the way a 45* cut became a 44* cut, 1/8 of the tank trim on the back right of the tank hangs off. Not that big of a deal...

Put on the trim, took a picture before putting outside corner trim on but it's all on w/ glue

Finished skinning the front, no picture of it ATM as it's laying face down so glue has pressure applied. Will begin the trim work shortly to cover my unsightly bad cuts!

Does anyone have some rocks they dont need? PM me!

Got to start skinning the stand, using shower board to skin for the gloss and easy clean up. Almost done with the skin of the stand, just need to cut the front piece to allow access inside but also need to come up with a way to display the refugium I plan on having while child proofing it...

Third and final coat, didn't bother to take a picture as it looks the same as the one I posted yesterday. Should make some more progress Sunday, if time allows!

While not a super amazing progress update, here's the stand with 2 coats and joints caulked, think I'm going to do 1 more coat.

Just finished up first coat of kilz, couldn't decide weather to use kilz 2 or kilz original, went with original. Tomorrow will be fun, caulking the joints and another coat of kilz. Here's how she looks at the moment

Looking for ideas on materials to build a sump/refugium, read about PVC sheet being a possible option but have to look into that more.

I'm a DIY kinda guy so I try and build whatever I know I can manage.... I have no previous experience with wood working, power tools, electrical work etc so I'm learning on the fly. Shot of Canopy, need to add center braces but will figure that out when I have lights Overkill with the 2x6...

:no: I was considering dry rock for my tank but now my decision has been made
