make sure that when someone asks you what your cal,alk,mag, nitrates and phosphate numbers are so that they can try and help you with your problems, you don't answer with......

Don't get caught up in the name game when buying coral. if you see it, you like and can afford it, buy it.

Lol. Some of the posts are good. I say #1 for me is research and 2nd work with you lifestyle. Make sure you dont move around a lot like getting a 150 gallon, dont get in to debt, do what feels right.

#1 advice - buy the tank you can afford to equip and run. The tank is the cheapest part of the whole hobby. Don't buy a big tank that you can't afford to light, or run adequate water flow, or run a large enough protein skimmer on, etc.
