135 Gal Lighting

Hello,

I setup a new 135 a few months back and have been running off 2 T5 lights. I just haven't had enough dough to put in any new lights. I was thinking of getting 2 250w halides but now I'm thinking I may not need those since im looking more towards the cheaper soft coral. What lighting should I get?

id say just add a bulb or two

Or T5 which is less in electrical consumption and easy to manipulate the color out put, and its ok if you decide to add sps or high end lps.

Currently, I have one 48" T5 fixture with the two bulbs. The canopy I have was built different so mounting another 48" would be out of the picture. Would mounting smaller fixtures be okay?
