:a01::a01: Officially getting wet! The goal of this tank is 2 carpet anemones and a pair of lightning maroon.

here are the basic equipment:

- 150 gallon CADlights 3/4 Starphire. 5x2x2
- 60 gallon 4 chamber sump
- 48" 8 bulb ATI + Kessil 360WE
- CADlights PLS 300 Skimmer
- APEX
- Doser
- JBJ Chiller

still needs to work on the plumbing, but I figured I'll fill the tank and let it cycle first.

over the year, I was just not happy with my 100 gallon. not enough depth, crappy DIY rockscape, and ugly DIY overflow box..

this time around, Rockscape designed by jestersix from SCR! His work is amazing. Drove 3 hours to my house and we finished the rockscape in 4 hours. rocks cure in 30 minutes and ready to use. extremely professional and helped me out with lot of reefing questions. Very interesting to talk with someone who started reefing 30 years ago.

We focused on depth and layers.. The right structure is mostly tonga. Upper branch for SPS, lower branch for Zoa.. Mid section is for LPS.. left section is mostly zoas and SPS up to.

in a few months, I'll start transfer my corals and anemones.

Great work! Rock scape looks bad ***! I love the way the pieces off set each other, very realistic feel. Keep the pictures coming.

thanks guys! I think rockscape can really make or break a tank... couldn't have done it without Jestersix! I recommend his work to any new reefer that's starting a tank. very reasonable pricing

Very nice rockscape. Are you going to just keep the kessils for lighting?

I bought an ATI 8 bulb fixture. I wasn't happy with SPS growth from the kessils. LPS and zoa were great. I will supplement the kessil for its awesome shimmering effect

Looking nice, Tony. My advice is definitely do the plumbing first before you fill her up. You'll most likely need to go to the back of the tank when doing your plumbing and if she's fill up, you're pretty much stuck. Just my 2cent. Enjoy your new build. :)

I like it... Can't wait to see this in a year or so to see the growth progression.

Quick question, is this tank bigger than the original to the left?

Off to a great start. That is one clean looking tank and stand and perfect rock placement for it.
