175watt mh on a 10gal tank

I know this is overkill for the tank and what not but for those of you who have done this without a chiller and fan, how high have you guys set it with out any trouble?? Reason being is that I have a 175watt mh using 20k bulbs about 16in above my tank and my temp is about 81 degrees.

Also if this is a good hight, do i still need a fan to lower down the temp??And if I lower down the hight to 12in what fan would you guys recommend??

NOTE:
I have 2 zoas on the top most rock and as well as a bta that are doing welling with the high set at 16in.

You will for sure need some fan for that unless if is sitting in a automatic ac room

And if you are going to use the fan, it is ideally if u have it hook to a temp controller
If u want to have a clean look then go with one of those clip 2 r 4 fan on ebayif not make a trip out to walmart to get one of those 6 or 8 inches sorry I forgot what brand it was

O btw having it up at 16 inches is kinda height,it will pretty spread out the whole room.
