hi guys,
I'm starting my 180 gallon in wall tank at my shop in the next couple of weeks..
current list of equipment include-

180 gallon visio-eurobraced, black silicone, center overflow, polished edges brand new from Ali
36x20x17 advanced acrylics sump
atb flowstar return pump
1/4 hp jbj chiller
2 vortec mp40's
4 ai hydra52's
reef octopus prime 200 skimmer
apex jr

i will post pics of progress soon
we will be cutting the hole in the wall in about 2 weeks..

since it will be at work-it will be a LPS dominated tank

man this is soooo cool. I have always love tank in wall. Good luck and please add lots of pics for people like me that can only dream about these tanks.

w/c is done manually by me, planing on 20 gallons every week, I'm there 55 hours a week anyways;)
and ato will be done by probally by a avast marine ato

That is a sexy blk acrylic sump...you are gonna like those for bad boys 52s...what kind of controller are you planning to use? The AI Director ui is a very cool and friendly device. I have it for my 52s.

for the tank controller i am getting an apex jr, which i usually control the lights with.
i haven't looked into the ai director for the light controller, but based off your suggestion i will look into it and if i feel i need it i will probably get it.

here is a pic with the wall finished. the wall paint is more beige in real life, i think the iPhone messed up the color.
but you get the idea.
2maro i am blacking out the side walls so you can't see thru them.
