Well I am just about out of 2 part and will be in the market to try something new soon. I have been using BRS 2-Part solution for about 4 years now and recently I started having issues with my alk solution turning a greenish yellow in the container mixed. Figured maybe its time to start looking at diffrent stuff. For the time being I mixed up some Baking Soda to create some new alk solution as I was all out but lets hear what you guys all use and what you like and dislike about them.

I use ESV and have no complaints about it but the price. Don't quote me on this but I've heard ESV is more concentrate than the BRS 2 part so not nearly as much is needed. Also, ESV 2 part includes trace elements.

Esv is pretty easy to use. It comes concentrated and you fill it with ro yourself, so you spend more for a premium product and less on shipping if you order it, but any fine lfs carry it, so that selling point becomes moot.

I like the kent nano 2 part for any tank less than say 50 gallons for a number of reasons - it says what other trace elements it has in it instead of esv which says, "trace elements" and it is easy to figure out how much you need precisely while just using "drops."

Hmmm well, 3 people are not enough of an opinion yet but so far you guys are all talking about ESV which is where I was thinking of going.

I figured this type of comment would come up. Not in the plans right this second but it's an idea I have been researching for some time.

Reactor is coming just still slowly getting the parts together. Maybe by the end of the year but for now I need a new 2 part system to get me through. I keep hearing nothing but good things about ESV Bionic so I think I will be ordering some in the next month as I will be out of 2-part by then.

consistency from bottle to bottle. If I go from one bottle to the next, I have to test every day for the four to five days.
Get the 4 gallon container. Its much cheaper.
