2 weeks of cupramine at 0.5ppm, then?

I have this Achilles that's been hospitalized with 0.5 ppm of cupramine for the past two weeks due to ich. It's eating and active but still possessing a few white spots on its fins. What should I do? Advice please.

I would keep it at 0.5 for at least a month, especially if you see ich on the fish.

I would leave it a little longer. One time I didn't see spots till like the third week

What are you using to measure cupramine? Did you do any WC while in treatment? IME, you should not see any sign if ich after 2wks. I generally do a gradual WC over the cours of the 3rd wks and monitor/observe for another 2wks..... I could be wrong, but should the maximum strength be at 0.05ppm?

0.5 ppm is the recommend level.

I use the test kit made by seachem. I keep up the regular WC routine but redose the amount back into the new water.

That's why I use copper safe. LOL..

I leave the fish in QT at least one month after I see the fish completely ick free.
