I originally got a reefbreeders 48 led fixture for the tank. The side to side light coverage was ok, but from front to back it wasn't enough. The back of the tank seemed too dark for me. Had to ditch that plan.

I found an aquactinics t5 fixture that I'm going to do a DIY t5/led. Think I might paint the fixture as well. What to do you think of red with white trim?

That sump and tank combo are sweet. Love the way the water flows into the socks very clean idea and been a Big fan of those style sumps.

$20 diy project. Couple cans of spray paint, some light sanding, couple of screws here and there. Just about done.

I'll post some updated pics later.

I'm using ai hydra 52's with the t5 bulbs. Some sand and coral have been added along with a bunch of fishies.

Lights are up. Only bummer is the leds aren't flush with the t5's. The fans for the t5's are in the way. I had to lay the bracket for the leds over the fans. It'll have to do for now.
