and also going solar lighting in addition to that haha the color on these actually match the granite we used as our stone for the pond...I picked up 12 small and 6 large solar rock lights mainly for walkway lighting and a few waterfall highlights

here is a couple quick pics of the ponds, the plants in the pond are maturing fast....already have a bunch of water lettuce I am going to give away if anyone is interested.

The entire liner is fully covered in rock, foam and gravel. Nothing exposed. Looks completely natural (other then when the disco lights are going lol

So much has been done since I posted the last pics. Plants have really grown in but with it being winter most look like junk. One of these days when the shop is slow I'll take pics and update this thread. Whole backyard is done other than putting up bamboo on my block wall fences and around then bbq area

Can't wait to see the backyard when all the new growth kicks in. Everything looks great.

Everyone keeps hitting me up for pics lately and want to know status. So with spring approaching and the last few weeks of heat everything is back active and starting to look good. Already had the first couple blooms of the season. The backyard is a bit of a mess tho now because we just picked up some more materials. Yesterday I took the 2 hour drive to San Diego and 3.5hr drive back to pick up bamboo for the fencing and BBQ. So this coming week we will be installing that and probably begin planting the last of the flowers we will be keeping. Also have dropped in a few hundred more fish (bitterlings, flagfish, mollys and ghost shrimp)
