Whats the budget for a build like this?
"MY" Initial estimate/budget was $1000-$1500 because I figured I had a good idea what everything cost wholesale, and thought I had a good idea what everything else would cost....needless to say we are already at about double that and have not bought the liner or stone yet

Here is a quick run down:
Bridge: lumber, outdoor deck screws, wood glue, few saw blades, wood sealer and me breaking my back lugging around the lumber $284.61
Pump: PerformancePro Artesian2 A2-1/8-39 Low RPM Pump $685
Surface Skimmer: Savio Compact $300
Waterfall Box: SAVIO Living Ponds $400
Filter: Aqua UV Ultima 2000 2" $800

Initial plumbing: $149.27
bottom drain $100
100' of 2" flex PVC $400
20' of 1" flex pvc $40

Retaining wall and cinder blocks for waterfall and different levels etc "so far": $310.90

One day of labor for two guys "so far" $180

Spent "so far": $3649.78

"Estimate" on Stone $1500-2000 (averages $0.18-$0.25 per pound)
Estimate on Underlayment and liner $1210

Total job estimate as of right now $6359-$6859

Well got a lot done this morning before I threw out my back and literally almost collapsed to the floor. After a few hour at urgent care we got me some muscle relaxers and strong pain meds. Unfortunately I have a high medication tolerance so no real relief as of yet.

Luckily the other two guys continued working and have nearly finished all the framing for the steps of all the waterfalls in all 3 areas. Also got a lot more digging and leveling of the ground level. After getting back from the hospital took a few pics I'll post up when I'm able to walk normal and work again.

Sorry to those of you that planned on dropping by the shop today, had to close early to go to the dr. If I'm a bit more mobile tomorrow I will open up normal hours, might just be a "help yourself" type of day lol...if not I'll post up on our Facebook page we are closed

That sucks that you threw your back out...been there done that and it's no fun waiting at the dr's and can't sit or stand or anything else due to the excruciating pain. Sucks even more that it's not like a broken bone that you can throw a cast on and it will repair itself...with a bad back, you just have to deal with the pain and let it do its thing and be miserable meanwhile. but on a bright side of things, i picked out your first fish once you start stocking it.

Good news is the back is a little better. Unfortunately I have just been pushing through the injury to keep getting work done. Have not had much time to post lately but have been taking pictures along the way.

Ill post up some of them as soon as they are done uploading to photobucket. We are roughly 70% done with the build now.

This is the framework for the second waterfall walls. This is where the two upper ponds drain out into one larger waterfall down into the lower/main pond

here is the main upper waterfall framework being constructed. This one waterfall will spilt and run down into two separate ponds, which then both flow down to the main bottom pond.
