Downgrade big tank as home doesnt stop me loving my beloved hobby, so I start office tank.

28 gallon bio cube, no skimmer , just filter, carbon, and power compact light for now.

Future plan
Upgrade light with taking out the hood ( thinking about LED since no SPS tank)
Install ATO.

Transfer my Flame Angel, few hermit crabs.

It's an addiction I tell ya. Nice start. Watch your evaporation once you take the hood off.

Nice branch aquascape. Is that branch newly picked up from a lfs? If so, where? I'm looking for branch pieces like that!

Thanks for your comments. I think the branching rock is kind of cool, good for circulation flow in the tank, more space for my fish to swim around (mostly is for my Flame Angel fish) and look like dead old roots with new life start to grow on it. Here is my old 40 gallon breeder, my plan for it was gluing every corals on the rock (without frag plugs) and kept a nice white sand bed, but I broke down before I did it.

I collected them long time ago, but some I bought them from San Juan Capistrano Reef. I don't know if they still have them.
That aquascape is niiiice!!
Thanks

As today, the water is clear up.
Ac jr is installed, but the ATO needs pump. Any suggestion on pump with small footprint which is able to put inside the 5 gallon jug?

Rio 180 will fit i believe. I just use an aqualifter and put the line in the vent hole on my 5gal jugs.

Do you know the aqualift pump can pump the water all the way on the top? I am thinking about that but dont know the maximum head pressure of it.

I wonder what the bioload capacity is for those kind of rocks? Less than more porous rocks? They look really cool in there.

Didnt think of that. My qualifter is only a few inches above my sump and ato reservoir, and the water just dribbles out. Might not be enough for your application. I have a rio 180 that i drop into a jug when im mixing small amounts of sw, so i know it fits. -iain
