2x80w ballast

Where can I buy a ballast that is meant for 2x80w t5? I have a 660 running three, but about to go down to two and don't want to over drive them. I know reef geek used to carry the hep group, but googly couldn't help me find another supplier

It is made for t5..icecap makes a 430 n 660 model

I've been driving 2x 80 watt t5 bulbs on my Ice cap 660 for 2 years now and bulb life is around 10 months. I never had a bulb go out premature. I know workhorse makes a 2x 80 watt ballast but I don't recall the model #.

Ebay, picked mine up for less than $30 shipped. It has been running great for just over a year now. Think the brand was osram or something like that (its on the back of the hood and cant read it)

I run 2 80w bulbs on a HEp group SI280

And I run two bulbs on a workhorse7. I have never had a problem with either and like the quality of the hep group better

i actually got it through a reefer but just look for the model online, doesn't have to be off a reef site. its half the price as well

Not right now, part of the rebuild plan. I have a 4" hole on each end of the canopy, going to put CPU fans in there hooked up to a temperature switch. Or since I'm adding more T5, once the second pair comes on the fans will come on.
