WEnt to 3 stores (Socal Tropical Fish and two others that I won't mention) on Saturday 07-12-08 and livestock at two other stores was very limited and unhealthy, prices were also a bit higher than they were at Socal Tropical Fish. Socal had very healthy livestock and a good variety. Tom was very helpful and informative even though he was helping about 4 people at the same time.
I picked up a Tunze nano skimmer, some purigen, some chemipure, a nice porcelain anemone crab (for my 225g) and a pom pom crab for my nano. Got a great deal on everything and saw so much more that I'll be going back for in the near future to stock my nano. This was my first time there as I had to see what everyone was ranting and raving about and am definitely glad I did. If you read this Tom, thanks again and see you soon. Took me about 45 mins to get there, but was worth the drive. Thumbs up on a great store with so much high end equipment, healthy and varied livestock, but even better than all of that, great customer service.
