A couple of months ago I bought a 30 shallow from a friend of mine, with the intent of building a riparian style tank, which, I did. But, I quickly got bored with it and converted it to my new reef tank. When I got the tank it already had one hole drilled, which turned out to be 1/2 in, a little too small for a drain, so I learned how to and then drilled my glass tank. The tank spec's are as follows

glass tank 24x24x12, unknown builder dyi derimmed,

1 in overflow draining into a 10 gallon sump with a 1/2 in return

ehiem hobby pump for the return

wp10 and a korella nano for increased flow, I have both power heads on timers, because the wp10 did not have the photo sensor so it turns on and off with the lights, and the korella comes on when the lights are off, I have it behind my dyi (pvc) overflow so it is deflected

aquatic life 4x24in t5 ho's running ATI bulbs,

a hob eshopps psk75h is providing the skimming

and a phosban reactor

I will post some pictures soon,

Thank you both, I have some work to do, but I like how it is coming out so far. One of the first things I need to do is figure out what I am going to do with the clam, its getting to be too big for my tank.

thats one heck of a clam! aquascape looks great.
Yeah, I have had it for about a year and a half, not the best looking but I am kind of attached to it. That is my dilemma, if I do decide to take it out, I want to make sure that it goes to somebody that will take care of it.
