Acrylic Aquarium Stand & Canopy demensions 7ft/L 3ftD 2ft tall with canopy im place it stands 4ft/9in inches tall. I Purchased this set up off of Craigslist about a year ago. My Plan was to have a tank custom made with Starfire glass for my Red Asian Arrowana. My landlord saw me moving it in & crushed my dream saying I'd be evicted if I filled it so it's been sitting in my living room ever since. The stand & Canopy were obviously professionaly made of I think Oak, the edges of the canopy are beautiful & even the bottom edge of the stand is trimed which is just a really nice look. The hinges on the doors are very sturdy & have an assisted close feature. All Doors & Drawers open as smooth as butter. I paid $1500 so that's what I'm asking for it. I am open to serious offers though but please no low balling. The Acylic has some small scrathches from use but none are deep I really purchased this for the beauty & workmanship of the stand & canopy.

I'm watching for a 7' tank... If only it were 2' instead of 3'. (my wife would be evicting ME if I did 3')

Beautiful dimensions though. That will make a killer tank -GLWS!

The first line says it's an acrylic tank.. :p
Confused because he started talking about his dream tank being starfire in the very next sentence, implying this was it... He also put the description in as proper nouns as if it was a company name.

red arowana are RESTRICTED, they're not illegal. it's just like a Molluccan cockatoo is protected by CITES, but you can still get them when captive bred.
They are listed as an endangered species so a permit is required to import/export. This is nearly impossible for "pet" purposes and generally only allowed to repopulation/conservation. I guess you could circumvent this by finding a conus breeder....

Is that some sort of threat?

I just don't see the point of posting that kind of information... I guess I'm passively suggest you remove it... Lookin out for YOU....
LOL. It was a joke. Arowana are pretty common in the freshwater world.
