The tank has been running for two months now and its now time to ad some fish and coral. I purchased the tank at The Reef tropical in Anaheim - had to be custom made by Visio as I wanted abnormal specs 36x 18x 12
I currently have a T5 6 bulb fixture on a timer.
petco powerhead for flow rated 40-60 gph.
A CPR Large Refugium -the pump was emiting a bzzzz vibration throughout the tank but a little mod took care of that problem -lit by an LED fugelight2
I'm going to house softys in this tank - the only skeletal coral creatures would be a hammer coral and a frogspawn that I might house in some time.
I started out with dry rock from marcorocks.com "fast shipping and great service"
I'll bring u updates when I get more coral.

Thank you guys for the kind words. Yes, the tail spot blenny is very cool. He chills with the gobys in their den all the time. Its a change from the usual bicolor blenny.

Hey, I used to go to the Reef and noticed all the tanks. How was the pricing like on their tanks?

I know they have fairly good deals sometimes on fish, great deals on their whole coral colonies, but I never bothered to ask about their tank pricings.

Also:

Has the diatom explosion effed up your sand yet? It looks gorgeous still :a21:

I purchased Caribsea live sand so did not go through a diatom phase. :) Great price on tanks, definitely check them out if you're in need of one. As for the corals ehhhh- :( the corals are either dieying or getting there. They switched over to some low dimed LEDs and it all went down hill. They should've kept the T5s runing.
