wonder what kind of resin he's using... i tried doing stuff like that with the resin i use for my sculptures, and it melted the paint... i tried both oil and acrylic paint... looks like he's using acrylic... maybe i need a resin with lower baking temperature, or longer demold time... i bet he uses the resin that has 16 hour cure time... imagine that...? every half inch layer is 16 hours apart.... man that's a long time for one piece of art... has to be crazy expensive too... unless he's using the cheap color cast stuff... but it looksk crystal clear to me...

i was just thinking... i bet i can do something like that, but i'll have to make the fish body out of clay first... paint it, do some layers, then paint the fins somehow... hmm...
