Hey Everyone,

As much as I love this hobby - and my 40 Breeder set up (which I haven't even had 6 months yet...) it is time for me to admit I need cash much more than I need my reef tank right now.

That being said, I am open to offers - and possibly even cool trades (Looking for TV) but please; no lowballs.

I am located in Santa Barbara,CA and not able to deliver anything - so it is buyer's responsibility to organize pick up and transportation of goods.

Please note that only what is listed below is for sale - livestock will be going in my office tank.

I DO NOT WISH TO PART OUT - PLEASE TAKE EVERYTHING FOR A KILLER PRICE - $1000 OBO

  • 40 Breeder Tank / Flat Black Stand
  • Advanced Acrylics Sump (30" L)
  • CAD Lights PLS-150 Skimmer (This thing is awesome)
  • BRS Deluxe Carbon/GFO Reactor
  • Sicce Syncra Silent 4.0 Return Pump
  • Lifereef Overflow Box
  • JBJ Trinity 4 Bulb T5HO (With new bulbs - 2 ATI 2 Wavepoint)
  • 40+ lbs BRS Pukani Rock (Live - fully cured for a 4 months)
  • 40 lbs live sand (special grade aragalive)
  • 2 5 Gallon Buckets of Red Sea Salt (Natural Levels) - 30 Gallons worth of salt missing from 1
  • BRS 6 Stage DELUXE RO/DI Unit - Never even used. One of the Male - Male nipples was cracked in the shipping box, only a few bucks to replace.
  • 20 Gallon Brute garbage pail with wheels and lid - also have auto float switch
  • Extra Rio 1700 return for mixing salt
  • Cobalt aquatics standard 200W Heater for salt mix
  • Cobalt aquatics neo-therm heater (for 40 Breeder)

Fair enough - just had to start somewhere. I'm not just selling a tank here, I'm selling a complete package to get into (or back into) the hobby. I understand that I am looking for a very specific type of person to buy this system (or trade me something cool for it) but I can be patient.

Frankly I want to sell the system before I dump more money into it (Dosers, APEX, MP10s, Radions, etc).

In light of Zoarder's post - Price drop to $1000 OBO.

If you had the Apex, Radion and MP10 then maybe ask for a good price. Most people see 40 breeder and $1 sale at petco and parting out is the best as the package deals don't really sale on forums unless they are dirt cheap due to most people have quite a bit of stuff already.

Put it like this I sold a Lee Mar 150 gallons starfire with custom sump from AA and Lee Mar stand stain Bombay for $700 and my cost $1800

Hope you don't take this the wrong way but just trying to help you sell your stuff. But if I head out that way I will hit you up for the rocks
