40 gallon breeder

I'm about to get a 40 gallon breeder because 7 tanks isn't enough I need an intervention y'all. How are you filtering yours? I'd like to stick to HOBs cuz it works for me and is familiar. Haven't had a Penguin yet so I was thinking about a 150 and an Aquaclear 50, one on either end. I watched a video about doubling up on filters for long tanks. I have two Aquaclear 20s on low flow on my 20 long and it's working out great. Do you think that's excessive? Should I just get one Penguin 350? I'm afraid the flow might be too high. Lots of money will be going into this tank and the more I can save the better. Thanks in advance.

I have the seachem tidal 75 on my 40 breeder qt and it's perfect for that tank.
