Anyone have any experience with 5 kg - Red Sea Reef Foundation ABC+ ? about to purchase from BRS and wanted to hear any if anyone has had bad experience with it or if there is something better? I have a 29biocube with a 400 calcium reading that i would like to get to about 450 and thought bulk purchase might be better than constantly buying

ca = 400ppm
alk = 8dkh
sal = 1.026

-only about 4 small sps frags in the tank at the moment with a perc pair and a dragonet.

Have you considered switching to a salt mix with higher ca/alk/mg?

I'm not sure which option would be more cost effective for your current setup - Using a salt mix that has closer to 450ppm calcium to begin with or using a salt mix with 400ppm calcium and dosing supplements to raise it.

I'm still kinda new to all this so I still get my water from lfs, I have been thinking about making my own but I want to get a RODI filter first.
** Update I ended up buying the smaller 2lbs one to try it out.

I just started using the same product and so far things are looking up. I was at ca 380 and now doing 430 so Im guessing its working
