I had a guy cut a shelf for the slide platform. Unfortunately, he mixed up the dimensions so I'll have to take it back to him tomorrow to alter. If this reminds you to 5 guys burgers, it's because this was left over material from their counter tops :) 1/2" acrylic. Should I Rollingstones, paint it black, or keep it red?

Picked up the rock I wanted.

It's a little smaller than I thought it would be. I might beef it up with some real rock.

I started to glue the magnets to the rock and sealing them with marine epoxy. I've lost countless frags due to my bulldozing long spine urchin knocking frags plugs over and having them fall into my tube anemone.

Good looking rock. Keep the pics coming. Im really liking the way it coming together.

Did you order the rock directly from the company in Utah? How much did it cost you? I think I'll get one for my 50g cube. Since you think it's bit too small, what size would you recommend me getting?

If that's your only rock, I recommend getting the largest one possible. There is a website called aquatecture that's sells WYSIWYG with one that is 18"x15"x14" I think. On cerameco's website, they only go up to 14"x14"x10"

The tank is cycling now but I've come across a problem. The overflow is EXTREMELY loud. What do you guys do to deaden the sound? I was thinking of loading the overflow with live rock rubble. Adds more live rock to the system and limits the height of the waterfall. Does anyone put live rock in their overflow?

Yes it is. The texture does make it look artificial but when it gets encrusted with coralline, you shouldn't be able to tell. I like it so far. What size did you get?
