So when I upgraded tanks I bought a 100 lbs lot of live rock from someone breaking down their tank, and had 40 lbs left over when I was done. It's been sitting in a bucket with no water for about a year. What needs to be done to get it ready to put into a new tank?

thanks

Rinse them out good, leave them out in the sun for a week. Rinse them good again. Save your used water from water changes, stick them in a plastic tote with your used water, add a couple power heads for three months. Also wouldn't help to add a little bacteria (Dr. Tim's one and only) to the tote.

Should be cured then and can be added to your DT, new tank, or sold as live rock.
