Raptor Rainbows zoas i believe? yeah send me a pm for a frag or the whole little colony.
The heaters are on usually at 8pm-7am, during the day, the sun heats up the tank quite a bit!

Are you boosting the natural light with that 14K or was that just to check out the color.
I dont have any supplemental lighting, i had brought out an AI nano just to check out the colors

Gotta take this tank down temporarily, the one way valve has gunked up with algae and i was dumb and didnt install it in a union. The corner of the tank split so i need to mend the acrylic. I also need to get rid of all the algae that exploded when some rain water got in last winter/spring.

Chiller has only turned on once- its a 1hp chiller. Cooling fans take care of the tank just fine

I know this is old thread, but any update with pics??
I took the tank down because one of the corners of the eurobrace lifted and the tank started bowing. I didnt want it to burst so I gave away all of the coral and fish to local IEMAS members & sold the rest at CFM.

I have yet to repair it, but it is still hanging out in my back yard. While it is empty i have some time to improve a few things like the insulation & drainage. The only problem we have right now is that our electric bill dropped about $100 a month so we are not too motivated to set it back up....

Not with snow and minimal sunlight winters... its not awesome like our 2 socal seasons- summer and hotter summer.
