My 50 gallon mixed reef.

Mixed reef with some soft coral, LPS, Zoas, and 20 different SPS frags, and other misc coral.
Basic box sump with enough room for the ASM G-1 Protein Skimmer, Iwaki MD-15RLT Pump for return.
400 Watt MH (10k bulb i think?.) with one small Bahama Breeze fan for the heat in the canopy.
1300gph wave maker in tank.
Canister filter setup as a closed loop.
150 watt heater.

Fish:
Africa Allard Anemonefish x 2 (1-22-11)
Bicolor Dottyback
LawnmowerBlenny

picture taken one day before Vodka dosing.
Started Vodka dosing on the 8th of Jan 2011.

don't worry the Tangs will move to the big tank when they outgrow the tank.

no dosing other then Vodka. It's been up and running for 3 years, just decided to change things up and go primarily SPS when i got back home from deployment.
I do feed the tank, Kent Essential Elements, and PhytoPlan.
Decided to Vodka dose to see if it will help with my algae hair problem.
When i was deployed it had a bad outbreak of Algae when my better half was trying to maintain the tank and i pretty much lost everything.

What a pain in the butt, i had to pull all the rock out of the tank to catch my Tangs so i could move them to the big tank. I did this because i picked up two Africa Allard Anemonefish from SoCal Fish and Coral (support your LFS).

Picture taken when in the bucket for acclimation.

I did notice one SPS starting to bleach at the bottom. Not liking the Vodka?

i need to but i already have enough scratches in the acrylic i hesitate to clean more then i need to. Coraline isn't easy to remove from acrylic.

do you plan to scrap the coraline off ? i think it will look a lot better
Well one of my Allaridi's didn't make it after day four (the bigger one) :(
I did brake down and get another one today, the new one is three maybe four times the size of the other one and only 2 cents more for price. :)
Also got a GBTA for them to hang out in.
I'll try to post some pic's tomorrow.
