I have one right now and have been really happy with it. It really helps if you clean it twice a year (like most things right?). I get some pretty good skimmate from it and overall I've been really happy with it and so has the tank.

what omar said. its a skim machine. i had a heavy load in my tank. i had 2 clown fish, 7 green chromis, and a yellow tang and i wanted dry skimate so i keep mines a little higher than recommended and i had to empty the collection cup once a week. never had water overflow
