After having my house flood, and the moving, I'm starting over. In the process my tank grew a little, I moved from a 36x18x18 to a 36x24x18, acrylic euro braced. I am still in the process of plumbing, and setting up all the other fun stuff that comes with a new build, but I thought I would share where I am so far. I hope to get water in the tank in the next week or so.
Equipment
tank 36x24x18, sump sea side aquatics 28x15x12, simplicity dc 1600 return, eshopps protein skimmer, jeboa rw 15 and a mp10qd
lighting from a Hamilton 6 bulb t5,profilux 3 channel dosing pump, and a marine magic 3 channel dosing pump (if I need it) and it will be run by the vertex cerebra.

I am building the tank to be sps dominate, and currently have no fish or coral list, will get what I like when I see it. I playing with the rocks today, and I thought I would share some pictures of what I came up with.

I am thinking about painting the top of the stand. The tank is going to be bare bottom, so I will be looking at the bare wood. I thought about black, but not sure if that will make the tank to dark. Would love some feed back.
