so i ordered the "supposed" adapter from Coralvue it is the exact size for the inlet. when i say exact size, i mean its not an adapter, its like an extender i can glue on. makes no sense

anyone now where i can get these adapters so i can swap out my return pump

thanks

I don’t think too many people run these baller return pumps. They must be pretty awesome. I’m planning to just run 2 Varios-6 DC pumps, easier on the wallet, get similar redundancy, and easy to find parts/replacement.

has to be 1-1/2" and 2" since its so hard to find other sized fittings. Lowes is out of random fittings except for 90s and tees LOL

Yeah the pump cost a small fortune and to plumb it you have to find specialty fittings if you are in the states. It sucks that they require you to glue fittings to the pump to make it work. If you glue a union to it you are stuck with that brand union for the life of the pump if you tear down and replumb to another tank. Or replace the volute. I would glue a threaded adapter to it and use a threaded union the if you ever had to replace unscrew and use whatever brand replacement union is available

EXACTLY. no idea why it doesnt come with threaded adapters. i had to order Red Flag ball valves, 100.00 for 2, so that i can plumb this to the exact spot to swap my Hammerhead

Dayuummmm! I'm sure it's a great pump though. I haven't graduated to that status yet. I have a big ass Jebao DCP20000 sine wave pump feeding two tanks (300g/120g) from one sump with a brand new backup in the closet
Lol
