If it's a 5' tank he's small enough. With high flow would be ok for some time just not permanently.

I have had one in my 125 for about 6 months and he is doing great! Only tang though!

I highly would. Especially with achilles tangs. He's going on 4 weeks now but either way fish have been introduced after him and a qt clock resets after the introduction of the last fish. At least you know he's strong, eating aggressively and should pass full qt with flying colors. I have sold achilles and powder blues before though that have sat in copper for 2 to 4 weeks they were added to display tanks with no issues but that's a risk.
