acropora coral

i just got a new acropora coral and it was not attached to a rock, i was wondering how i should put it in my aquarium. should i glue it on the live rock or leave it in the sand or in between the rock?

I would not permantly mount it until you know where it grows/reacts the best. If you mount it in the wrong area of your tank you may not be able to relocate it. Also depends on how the acro is supposed to grow. Table, branch like a stag etc etc. If anything, glue it to a disc or frag plug.

don't put it in the sand, the flesh will melt on you. primetime gave good advice.
