Acrylic Polishing

You guys think I can get away with getting rid of this hazy ness with just a nice 3 step polish? Or should I stop being lazy and sand it down first? There isn’t really any scratches besides one but it’s so deep I won’t be able to sand it down. I just want the hazy gone so it’s visible through it better.

Looks like just build up. Try using dawn dish soap and a Dobie pad. Pick up at Walmart

Test it out.. I did the whole sanding thing... and at the end of the say I wished I polished it first...and then filled it to see if I actually need to do all the work.

yes, I think the 3 step polish should work just fine. I done it on a 90g before, attached it to a drill and go at lowest speed possible

I’ve used bar keepers friend on my glass tank, it worked really good. I don’t know about acrylic though.

Yeah, gonna have to sand it. 😞 the haze is in there deep.
