Acrylic and Glass Exhibits (AGE) of Dallas Texas, will have a SoCal Group Buy after the great response and interest at Reefapalooza. This is open to ALL SoCal club members able to pick up. We will send a truck with all the custom tanks to a meet up location near Costa Mesa and will assist members loading tanks into their vehicles.

Group Buy Terms:
Discount: Wholesale pricing - order by Dec 31
No crate fees (normally $250-300)
5 tank minimum group buy
$2000 split shipping cost - the more tanks = the cheaper the shipping (typical freight ~$750 per tank. Percent of shipping charge will be based on tank gallons so smaller tanks pay less per)
Delivery: estimated Feb-March 2016
50% deposit made at time of order.
If less than 5 tanks are ordered, it will be up to the individual buyers discretion if they would still like their custom tank made and freighted individually - if not, refund.

This is a sweet opportunity! If i didnt have my tank already ordered from another builder I would definitely be looking more into this. I didnt bother getting a quote from AGE because of the distance/shipping.

I agree that there are some great local builders out there. The difference is what features they offer. None of the locals offer all the features that AGE offers (namely the PVC bottom on glass tanks). Closest is going through SPS Coral Store. I have heard nothing but good things out of the tanks and stands that they build. They don't actually build the tanks. Another builder makes them and they add the similar features like the stainless steel bracing.
