I think I went through the same thread, for about 98 pages. From what I saw I'm DEFINITELY going to wait for the bugs to get worked out. But I still want to hear from a SCR member!

Brightness has nothing to do with par. Ill buy one and put it over the frag tank and review it for you guys.

Dimensions of tank? Taken par readings?

I borrowed Greg c par meter and took those numbers.

My tank is 48" wide x 30" deep x 21" tall.

This pic is with two of them hung centered wide and deep. Also the numbers on the sand are low but that's of course 15" forward from center.

You know, when I went to SPS Coral Store, they had some Vegas on one of their tank and I remember telling the guy I was impressed with it's color. I'm not sure what setting it was on, but it's nothing like the SOL Blues. I wish it got a little more attention/exposure....
