American DJ power strips?

Hi fellow reefers. Was wondering how many of you use these strips? I'm a little skeptical, I've read some bad things about them, but I'm also tired of reaching around the back of my tank every time I need to disconnect something? I'd like to hear the pros and cons. Are you using another brand of power strips? TIA everyone.

Apex for the win.... I have one on my frag tank and it makes it easy but I like my display because I can just jump on my iPhoen and turn things off as I need.

i dont use american dj power strips but i can say switches rock. i picked up a multi plug switch thing that i think kimle suggested from new egg.com. when i bought it i think it was like 8 bucks shipped. Rosewill brand.

Looking into them myself... Looks like "Eliminator Lighting Controllers" are getting better reviews.

We use them. They are great but the buttons will break if used a lot. Luckily the buttons are cheap to replace(eBay).

I use an apex on all my systems except my frag tank is weird lol anyways I use two on it and they work great I can turn on and off without having to reach for my phone and makes things faster for me.

this is a better one and it comes with an additional switch.
just a few bucks more than the dj and the switches last longer..

I use them and wouldn't go back! So easy to turn off whatever you need in a flash! No issues yet.

I use them and they're very helpful, just be careful not overload them. I use the 4 outlet. Main pump, Stand light, W/C pump, and non controllable outlet. I use an Apex for the rest.

I've had no problems with the American DJ. Bonus is that if it does ever break, you can go to your local Guitar Center and get another one for 30 bucks.
