Anemone got squished!

uuugh, so I woke up this morning to find my Green bubble tip anemone had been sucked through the back grate and was lodged between the display and the overflow. He looked bad, all squished and at first I believed he was shredded but once i removed him I realized he was intact. I think hes ok but a small piece of him was stretched and torn and I think this happened as a result of the power head I added the day before. I have placed him back where he was.. hope hes going to be ok.

Going to keep an eye on him, not sure what else to do. was thinking I should dip him in something to avoid infection?

Make sure your running carbon incase it croaks in the tank.

Just keep the water clean. Dipping might just make it worse at this point. If it starts to smell bad throw it out. Good luck

That looks like 28 gal jbj. Any way my nem went all the way to the back of my 28 jbj. 90% of a nem is water so they can be very small if want to. Hope yours can recover. If it dies the tentacles will shrink before hand. It is kind of obvious when it dies though. Good luck

Thanks for the advice I'll leave the dip out then and I am running carbon atm, so just going to wait and see so far he seems to be doing well tentacles are inflating. @ngvu19 yes it is the 28gal JBJ.
